Auction Projects
Mimosa Studios is proud to support local schools and organizations throughout the Portland area.
We specialize in working with schools to put together student created auction items that are both fun and profitable!
We have lots of ideas and offer discounts to fit your budget. We help parent volunteers design and create class projects and provide on-site painting kits so pottery painting projects can be done right in the classroom.
We also specialize in tile mirrors: each student paints a tile and once they are fired we grout them into a beautiful wood frame. Check out some examples of previous projects below and contact us for more information!
Bridge Plates
In 2011, one Portland school created a collection of bridge plates.
KNOVA Learning School
In 2013, Mimosa Studios partnered with Georgie’s Ceramic and Clay Company donate a tile mural project to KNOVA Learning School.
Georgies donated 400 tiles and we provided all the paint, glazing and firing to help KNOVA Learning make an awesome mural in which each student got to take part.
KNOVA Learning School is located in the Reynolds School District where 61% of the students come from low-income families. Mimosa Studios and Georgies are proud to support such a worthy project, instilling community spirit and school pride. Congratulations KNOVA Learning families!
Tile Mirrors
We love helping with tile mirrors. Each student paints their own tile and we grout them into a wooden frame. These can be hung vertically or horizontally.
