When is the last day to paint or turn in items in order to get them back by December 24th?
Pieces must be completed and turned in by December 20th in order to be ready for pre-Christmas pick up. Please note that we are open until 3pm on Christmas Eve, so please plan accordingly.

Do you accept walk-ins?
We try our best to accomodate walk -ins, but we can not guarantee space would be available for your group. We highly recommend reservations, so we can plan to have space for your group. You can make reservations easily HERE.

How long is a painting session?
Our painting sessions range from 1-2 hours. The maximum amount of time allocated for a painting session is 2 hours. After this time we will do our best to accommodate staying longer if we have the availability.

What if I don't finish my piece during my painting session?
If you don’t finish your piece during your painting session, we can hold your piece on our Unfinished Shelf for up to 30 days. You are able to come in and finish your project at your next session.

How long do you hold pieces before getting rid of them?
We hold on to finished pottery for 60 days before we must donate it to clear space for other pieces that have been painted. We do our best to reach out and remind folks of their pieces that are ready for pick up if they have been on our pick up shelves for a while.

What if I can't make it to my reservation?
No problem. We understand that life happens.
Please just give us a call at 503-288-0770 to let us know that your plans have changed.

Will you call me when my pieces are ready?
We do not call when pieces are finished, but the pick up ticket given at check out has the pick up date at the top.
We will only call if there is a problem with a piece in your order. So no phone call = your pieces are GOOD TO GO!

Can I paint pieces at home?
Yes! We offer to go kits. You pick out your pottery, and then you choose 6 paint colors for your to go kit. We charge a $15 deposit which is refunded as long as the kit is returned within 2 weeks.

How much does it cost?
Our prices range from $7 to $200. The average cost of a piece is $30.
We carry a variety of bisqueware including: plates, bowls, figurines, mugs, boxes, banks, salt and pepper shakers, butterdishes, tiles and seasonal decor.

Can I have a private party at the studio?
Our studio can accommodate up to 22 people for an after-hours party. Parties usually start around 5:30pm or later depending on what works for the host. After-hours parties can bring in food and drinks. There is a $50 fee for the after hours party, and a $600 minimum worth of pottery that needs to be painted during the party. If you don’t reach that minimum you just pay the difference.

I got a to go kit but I'm missing the instructions?
To go kits are a great option when you’d like to paint your pieces on your own time line.

What's up with the deposit for the to go kits?
We charge a $15 deposit for each set of 6 colors selected for the kit. It is important for us to charge the deposit to ensure that kits are returned within 2 weeks to get the refund. We have lots of folks wanting to paint at home, and want to make sure supplies are available for everyone.

Can children paint alone at the studio?
Children 12 years and older may be at the studio without a parent. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a caretaker that is at least 16 years old. Children are expected to have appropriate behavior and be respectful of the studio.
Exceptions may be made with studio owner approval.
We must gather contact information from the parent, and the children must be picked up on time at the end of their session.
