MIMOSA STUDIOS POLICIES
STUDIO ETIQUETTE
All scheduled classes and events start and end on time. Please be prompt in your arrival and departure, as we often have other events and reservations starting after yours.
REFUND POLICY
Mimosa Studios reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen conflicts. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the session. If you are unable to attend, you will be issued a refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans change.
Classes
Cancellations that are made up to 2 days before classes will be REFUNDED IN FULL. Cancellations made less than 24 hours of the start of your class will be REFUNDED AT 50% of the total fee. Cancellations made within 23 hours or less of the start of your scheduled or class WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Enrollment is generally non-transferable, however, accommodations might be made if space allows.
Painting Reservations
A $10 deposit will be collected when booking a reservation. No call, no shows will be charged $10 per person on the reservation. If you need to cancel your reservation please reach out to us ASAP. We hold the space for 15 minutes, but after that we must open up the space to walk in painters.
ILLNESS
For the safety of all of our students and staff, if you or your child are displaying signs of any illness (fever, pain, vomiting, runny nose, excessive coughing etc.), please do not come to the studio. If your child displays any of these symptoms or complains of not feeling well during a class an adult will immediately be called for early pick up. While make-up classes due to illness are NOT GUARANTEED, we will do our best to accommodate you in those circumstances.
BEHAVIOR & SAFETY
Our goal at Mimosa Studios is to foster a community of kind and respectful creatives.
•Painters will be expected to be respectful of their fellow painters and staff, as well as of the studio, materials and tools so that our space remains enjoyable and safe for all to use.
•We ask that you consider your child’s readiness for a class. It would not be a good fit for students who need constant individualized attention.
•For the safety of everyone, running and rough play will not be tolerated in the studio.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
If your child has special needs–whether behavioral, physical, or supported at school with an IEP, 504 plan, or other accommodations–PLEASE CONTACT OUR STAFF BEFORE REGISTERING. While our team is creative, caring, and experienced with children, we are not trained special education professionals. As a private art studio (not a school), we are not equipped to provide the level of individualized support some children may receive in an academic setting. We ask families to partner with us in determining whether our programs are the right fit, so every child can have a safe and positive experience.
OUR TERMS
By signing up for a class, event or painting at our studio, you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein. You do hereby release Mimosa Studios. or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or while participating in any activity sponsored by Mimosa Studios. Furthermore, the undersigned agrees that in the event medical attention is required due to accident or illness, Mimosa Studios shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through EMS/911 and/or local hospitals.
